2nd Sunday in Easter

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Alleluia! Christ is risen!
Good morning on this spring day which is giving us one last splash of winter snow!  I am always moved by the hush and deep silence and stillness that the snow gives to my soul.
CLICK HERE to find a liturgy especially for use tomorrow, the Second Sunday of Easter, as we continue to celebrate the resurrection of Christ.  I will continue to record and post reflections for each Sunday which will be posted on the church Facebook page and website.  For me, Christ's words of peace and blessing have taken on a deeper, more immediate importance in these days.  I need the reminder that we are loved, we are held, the promise of eternal life and joy is ours, and that in the end, all shall be well.
We continue to pray for the sick and suffering and their families, medical workers, civic and political leaders.  We pray God to give light and peace to the departed.
We pray for the unemployed:
"Heavenly Father, we remember before you those who suffer want and anxiety from lack of work.  Guide the people of this land so to use our public and private wealth that all may find suitable and fulfilling employment, and receive just payment for their labor; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen." (BCP p. 824)
All good health and peace to each of you,
Br. Randy
